Summary
Reporting that they have made it as far as Orléans; noting that while traveling with the Brownings she must "put all [her] own convenience & all selfish projects out of the question"; saying that Elizabeth Barrett Browning received letters "full of comfort" from her family but no letter from her father; mentioning her niece, Gerardine, who is traveling with them; describing their proposed route to Pisa.
