Discussing a planned outing. Thanking him for a letter in which he addresses her as "dear friend." Describing the pleasure this gives her, noting "I am like the devout, who touch [sic] God's right hand in the darkness." Recalling an outing during which they were unable to sit next to one another, stating that her greatest wish would be to have "that ride over again, and you by me."
