Summary
Asking him to send any letters by the messenger bearing this note. Noting that she is leaving for the country, and bidding Watkins and her "friend" (Lafcadio Hearn) goodbye. Hoping that they are not offended with her, noting "if it had been in my power I would have been as pleasant acquaintance as most of persons."
