Many of the names in the notes are written in longhand.
Part of a collection of manuscript notes in shorthand by Samuel Pepys and transcriptions of the notes by an amanuensis. Items in the collection are described in individual records (MA 3387.1-4).
This collection also includes a manuscript transcription of Pepys's notes entitled, "Notes from my conference this day with Miss Dawson upon my revisiting her with the book she had trusted me with about the birth of the Prince of Wales" (MA 3387.3).
