Summary
Seeking help to get out of a dreadful situation. Reporting that she has been hiding the diatribes against Voltaire, and telling him that she burnt the contents of Lamare's packet (including Desfontaines's lampoon and a letter informing Voltaire of the attacks against him, as well as the Epître à Uranie, a letter about Lock, and Rousseau's epigrams). Mentioning that Lamare returned the manuscript L'Envieux.
