Summary
Telling her she is naïve and that she should not fall for Eon's mockery; referring to Eon's lawsuit with Theveneau de Morande; admitting that Eon did and still could harm him but that he does not feel frightened; finding interesting the name of Eon's herald; saying that Eon usurped Madame de Godeville's identity but that she did it so crudely that she has nothing to fear; telling her not to worry about him and that Eon will not affect his spirit.
