Summary
Lamenting that he did not see Moore the previous day and mentioning that he is engaged to attend the theater with his brother the following day. Encouraging Moore to read Frederick Wedmore's "Pastorals of France" and Lionel Johnson's "Way of Writing" (in the Anti-Jacobin). Mentioning that he is ill, but that it is not the Epidemic (of Russian influenza), and inquiring after Moore's health.
