Describing an outing to the theater with Victor Plarr and Walton, noting that the play was "very disappointing." Encouraging Moore to read the preceding week's "Speaker," and mentioning an outing to the museum with Plarr the preceding day. Lamenting Sundays as "exhausting," noting "it is impossible to have any ideas on Sunday" and "it is a mistake to get up on Sunday."
