Summary
Heartily disparaging "Looking Backward" (by Edward Bellamy). Begging Moore to visit on Sunday, thanking him for the plaque (of Minnie Terry, see MA 1625.64), and mentioning mutual acquaintances. With a postscript mentioning his plans to read "Le Lyns dans la Vallée," by Balzac as well as "a very bad shocker, 'The Boy Princes,'" and mentioning the literary figures Macmurdo, Horne, Randall Davies and Rossetti's periodical "The Germ."
