Summary
Stating that he is "profoundly sorry," but that he has not finished his chapter for their collaborative work "The Passion of Dr. Ludovicus." Noting that he was "decoyed into the social act yesterday" and must see the barmaid called "Lena." Telling Moore about the death of C.E.M. Morris, noting that it has "somewhat depressed" Dowson. With a postscript thanking Moore for a letter, noting that it "has slightly cheered" Dowson. Arranging to meet and describing his feelings of depression.
