Thanking him for his letter and referencing the enlisting of Miss Coutts "in the good cause." Discussing renovations to Tavistock House, noting that "in the W.C. matter, and all other such matters [Dickens] would rather [Austin] ordered what [he] thought best." Looking forward to Austin's visit at Dover.
