Summary
Asking Austin to conclude the business of turning the lease of Devonshire Terrace over to Mr. Indermaur, the new tenant. Enclosing (not present) a cheque for a quarter's rent, and noting that all Indermaur has to do is to give Austin "an undertaking from Captain Johnson the Lessor, that he receives him henceforth as a Tenant in [Dickens'] stead." Mentioning that "Guild business" takes him to Manchester and Liverpool.
