Summary
Hoping that the "Board will wholly reject the measure" [to make it an advance from the Consolidated Fund], and mentioning that Dickens has a "great idea" to "serve the question in the recess," and that he has already projected a series of "Tormentors for Vestrylization that will sting it smartly." Discussing the Guild Play [Not So Bad As We Seem] and asking if Austin would like to attend a performance. Referencing his purchase of Tavistock House, noting that Austin will be thoroughly tired of Dickens by the time he owns it since he is holding so many consultations with Austin about it.
