Regarding a quantity of corn Mr. [Edward?] Telfair was to have sent for his plantation; requesting that at least enough be sent "as will serve the Negroes the season"; explaining that a payment that should have been credited to his account by William Pearce [sic] and Co. will have to wait until next fall, when he will pay him both principal and interest.
