Summary
Sending some "Gibraltars" (a kind of lemon candy) to their cousin; also sending a bag of coins and asking her to find and return to him "a silver threepence" which was "a gift to [him] from the loveliest lady in the land"; mentioning a missing smelling-bottle. The letter ends with the following postscript: "You can't imagine how quiet and comfortable our house has been, since you went away."
