Summary
Recommending Ernest Albee for the publicity position in the Information Division of the Farm Security Administration, mentioning [Frederick] Soule, Tom Collins, [John] Fischer, and that [Jonathan] Garst is forgetful. Noting that he is "working very hard [on "The Grapes of Wrath"] and will be until October," and that he will "fight anything that takes [him] from this book," stating "I think it is a good book." Apologizing for missing the radio broadcast [of "Ecce Homo!"], and hoping to see Lorentz soon.
