Discussing his attempts to educate Henry Gillman while Henry was away from Eton; noting that Henry was "fearfully shaken by the Hooping-Cough" and is easily confused now; asking Edward to make any allowances possible to help Henry join the fourth form on his return to Eton; noting that [Robert] Southey "has been arrested on his Journey" [to Amsterdam] by a bug bite "which has inflamed his leg & lamed him."
