Recording gains and losses at gambling. Entries are dated and all, except for most entries from October through December, note with whom du Barry was gambling and the amount gained or lost from each. Daily totals are recorded at the bottom of each page, and a notable entry from 2 July records a win of 50 francs from Nassau written in particularly large script. Additionally, a calendar index for January was added on the last page of the volume; it records a net gain of 5874 francs.
