Recording gains and losses at gambling. Entries are dated and note with whom du Barry was gambling and the amount gained or lost from each. Daily totals are recorded at the bottom of each page, and a notable entry from 29 January records wins of 10175 and losses of 1806 for a net gain of 8368 francs. Additionally, a calendar index with columns for gains and losses (for January through April only) was written out on the last four pages of the volume, but never filled in.
