Discussing two of the Alexander's "very dearest friends" from Boston who are visiting briefly on their way to Egypt. Exhorting Severn to be "thankful that [her] beloved D.P. (John Ruskin) is so very peaceful and tranquil." Thanking Severn for a photograph, and describing gifts she intends to send to Violet and Herbert.
