Summary
Expressing happiness that Swett's "Figlio," John Ruskin, is "enjoying himself," noting that "travelling always did suit him ... and probably he has not had as much of it of late years as might be desired." Regretting the loss of Mr. Severn's trunks, and hoping that "he will find every thing all safe, except the razors ... for [Swett] think[s] a beard universally becoming." Noting that Francesca has "brightened up," and mentioning Marina and the Countess Loredano Tiepolo.
