Summary
Concerning the death of Alexander's "Fratello," John Ruskin, noting that Alexander is "receiv[ing] letters of sympathy from many parts of England, Italy, and America," and that it "is a certian comfort to find how much everybody cares." Asking one of Severn's family to lay Alexander's garland of wild olive at Ruskin's grave, and hoping that the letter will reach Severn on Ruskin's birthday, "always a happy day until now."
