Signed "Your affectionate Sorella Francesca."
Summary
Concerning potential publication of Alexander's Roadside Songs of Tuscany, indicating that the wish of her "Mammina," Lucia Gray Swett Alexander, "is to have the whole book reproduced by photograph ... page by page ... just as she saw it growing up under [Alexander's] hand, years ago," but reiterating that "the manuscripts ... are in no way [the Alexander's] property." Noting that Alexander will send to Severn under another cover a letter "from a young Canadian lady ... telling about a visit which she made to the Mother of the Orphans," hoping that it will interest Severn and Alexander's "Fratello," John Ruskin, but requesting that Severn send the letter back to Alexander when she has read it.
