Summary
Relating that the health of Alexander's "Mammina," Lucia Gray Swett Alexander, has improved to such an extent that was able to go out in a carriage for an hour and a half, and noting that they will probably summer in Lugano, as the Mammina "would like to be near her good doctor of last year." Thanking Severn for "the remaining three pencils [which] have arrived" and for the annual seeds sent that spring. Expressing relief that Severn has gone away from the influenza in London, and asking her, for the Mammina, to forward the present address of Mr. Gershom Collingwood. With a postscript asking for news about the health of Alexander's "Fratello," John Ruskin.
