Summary
Expressing astonishment that Alexander's "Mammina," Lucia Gray Swett Alexander was well enough to write Severn a long letter, but assuring Severn that it did not tire the Mammina "at all," and that "she has improved very much." Also expressing great pleasure that Alexander's "Fratello," John Ruskin, cared for her letter, and asking Severn whether she might "write to him, sometimes, if [she] do[es] not think it would hurt him."
