Summary
Concerning the health of Alexander's "Fratello," John Ruskin, expressing happiness that Severn and Ruskin can "this year enjoy the spring together." Describing Alexander's visit to Camaldoli, to see whether "it would do for the summer," and noting that there she saw "many places most interesting from their associations, especially the savage precipice of La Vernia where S. Francesco d'Assisi received the stigmata; and avarious places mentioned by Dante." Thanking Severn for attempting to find a copy of "Far away melody" for Alexander's "Mammina," Lucia Gray Swett Alexander.
