Summary
Discussing flowers and Alexander's terrace garden, noting that the "double primrose [sent by Severn] will be the first ever planted in Florence." Giving thanks to Alexander's "Fratello," John Ruskin, for "arranging that [the Alexanders] were to have anything [they] liked (pictures of Alexander's work) from Mr. Allen." Also noting that two boxes are being sent from the Alexanders to Brantwood, one including quince jelly, which they had meant to send for Christmas but which had been forgotten due to the ill health and subsequent surgery of Alexander's "Mammina," Lucia Gray Swett Alexander.
