Concerning the slowly improving health of Alexander's "Fratello," John Ruskin, mentioning that Alexander "sometimes feel[s] quite down-hearted and discouraged about" Ruskin, noting that once he is well, "it will be worth all the waiting and all the anxiety." Also discussing flower seeds, noting that Letizia Rasponi's daughter-in-law sent Alexander some from Switzerland, which Alexander will share with Severn. With a postscript discussing the photographs of Alexander's unpublished work held by Ruskin and Severn.
