Summary
Concerning the receipt of "the first package of photographs from [Alexander's] drawings, containing [reproductions of] poor Ida's likeness, Polissena, Santa Rosa; and one from the Roadside Songs," and describing in detail the pleasure that this package gave Alexander's "Mammina," Lucia Gray Swett Alexander. Mentioning that the Alexander's landlord, Cesare Bonciani, has died suddenly, and asking whether Severn would "like some seeds of the white cross poppy."
