Summary
Concerning the health of Alexander's "Mammina," Lucia Gray Swett Alexander, and of her "Fratello," John Ruskin, noting that she is "not at all dismayed by the slowness of his recovery, which seems ... safer and surer than any sudden change." With a postscript noting that Alexander is sending "eighteen packages of the Shirley poppy seeds ... to many places," describing an "extraordinary melon ... green within, and yellow without, and as sweet as honey" (a honeydew), and enclosing Swiss and Italian stamps for Agnew.
