Summary
Concerning Severn's ill health brough on by Ruskin's nurse "Mackay," who, says Alexander, "ought to go to an asylum as a patient instead of nurse." Discussing the health of Alexander's "Mammina," Lucia Gray Swett Alexander, mentioning that "a servant woman, belonging to some strangers at the hotel ... goes to church every morning at five o'clock to pray for the Mammina's recovery, [even though] she does not know [Mammina] even by sight." Also mentioning the good health of her "Fratello," John Ruskin, and the upcoming publication of some of his poetry. With a postscript mentioning that Alexander will write to Ruskin and "see to the stamps for [Severn's son] Agnew."
