The stationery is embossed in a style different from Alexander's personalized stationery used in letters dated primarily 1885-1889. Envelope with postmarks, addressed to Mrs. Arthur Severn, Brantwood, Coniston, Lancashire, England, Inghilterra; back flap also has "Francesca" elaborately embossed in gilt.
