Summary
Concerning the health of Alexander's "Fratello," John Ruskin: worring about his "present excitability," but hoping that recovery approaches soon. Noting that Ruskin's unkind words to Severn "are no more his than if he were talking in his sleep," and likening Ruskin's condition to "a troubled dream, growing more restless as the time draws near for awaking." Also discussing Severn's youngest and "very entertaining" child, and hoping that Severn "will never send him to school to be made like other people [because] the less such a child as that was educated, the better!"
