Discussing Severn's return to her family and the improving health of Alexander's "Fratello," John Ruskin. Also mentioning that Miss Anderson has written to say that Ruskin has returned to work, and that Ruskin has sent Alexander two watercolor paintings of views from the house at Coniston. Alexander goes on to say that if the paintings were executed after his recovery, then "certainly his illness had done him no harm."
