Telling Furniss he is sorry to hear of his wife's poor health; commenting on specific drawings Furniss has done and asking for changes; noting that he will alter the text of his book to fit one of Furniss's illustrations; authorizing Furniss to make a change to a wood block illustration for the "Peter and Paul" series; asking Furniss not to make any changes to the illustration that will require altering the text because "verses are much harder to alter than prose"; reminding him of the illustrations still needed for Sylvie and Bruno.
