Describing his plans to go to Paris and Italy; noting that he plans to draw on Chapman for his balance soon; discussing plans to have an engraving of Elizabeth Barrett Browning made from a photograph; observing that there are "certain horrible libels on humanity published as portraits of her in America"; suggesting that the engraving appear in the next edition of Aurora Leigh; mentioning that his son, Robert Weidemann Barrett Browning, "swims capitally."
