Complaining of "domestic trials & upheavals" related to an unsatisfactory servant; mentioning that Clive Bell and Mary Hutchinson are coming to visit; describing her plans to meet Duncan Grant in London and stay with Keynes; alluding to her pregnancy with Duncan's child and noting that "Duncan takes it very seriously & says embryos can hear & that I must go to a lot of good music"; stating her intention to tell people that the child's father is her husband rather than Duncan.
