The first three pages are written on "Thursday"; "Saturday" appears at the bottom of p.3.
A long strip is cut out of the middle of p. 1-2 to remove a sentence on p. 2; there is also heavy canceling immediately before the missing strip.
Forms part of a collection of 41 letters from Austen to her sister and two prints (MA 977.1-43).
