Note in Ainsworth's hand on the final page: "Agreement for an Edition of 500 copies of 'Myddleton Pomfret,' Sept. 5th 1867."
This copy of the publication agreement is signed by Ainsworth; Chapman and Hall would have signed a second copy and returned it to Ainsworth.
