With mark of blue wafer, postmark and address panel: "Miss Austen / Steventon / Overton / Hants" [Hampshire].
The majority of the letter is written on Thursday, Sept. 15; the section dated "Friday" starts below the address panel on p. 4.
Austen's signature does not appear on this letter though the letter appears to be complete.
Forms part of a collection of 41 letters from Austen to her sister and two prints (MA 977.1-43).
