Summary
Postponing plans to receive Mrs. Esten's nurse Polly owing to her nurse Nancy's postponement of her previously planned trip to visit her mother; urging her to visit for a change of air, "Harrick will go up in the tender with Papa & you will not certainly refuse to leave Hamilton with Mama until he can come to us without fear or apprehension" (a reference to the fact that the children have been left onshore owing to recent outbreaks of illness on shipboard); Mr. Palmer and Harriet to return soon to London; family news and visiting among family members.
