Summary
Thanking Huish for the cheque for £12- 12-, and telling him that "I must do what I can about the printing! And meanwhile I will try tomorrow to get you off a proof of the Doorway. Today I am sending you 32 proofs of my lithographs -- one of each. They are £2- 2- a piece with the exception of one "The Seated figure, draped" which is £3- 3-. Take out what you wish to keep and send me a cheque for them, deducting the sum total of fifteen per cent, which is the discount I allow on lithographs. And let me beg that what you do not keep, you will have the kindness to send back at once, very carefully packed -- quite flat." A postscript asks: "Is business really as bad as ever in London?"; stating "On the back of each lithograph you will find a number corresponding with one on the enclosed list."
