Inviting him and Achille-Léon-Victor, Duc de Broglie to visit Edgeworthstown, so that they may witness "the humors of an election in Ireland as well as in England;" writing "You who have described an English County Meeting so well must do justice to an Irish election - Believe me it will be rich in traits of individual & national character & will give you & M. de Broglie materials for 6 months thought;" sending greetings from her family; adding "Remember too that you and I have many tangled subjects of conversation to wind up;" saying that she hears from all her Parisian friends about the "excellence & the effect of M. de Broglie's discoveries - I wish I could see them - next best to hearing them."
