Summary
Apologizing for not having accepted his "invitation to sit again, but I have not been in London for months. However, if you are still here, I want to know whether I might beg a couple of prints? I want one for general use (publisher & so forth) and Brooke. I made a bargain that we would exchange when you had taken him - which I believe you have now done. I think on the whole I like the one leaning forward best. But don't let me be a nuisance. And as some slight quid pro quo you must let me send you my new book of poems in the autumn if you will tell me where to send it;" adding, in a postscript, Please forgive pencil - my wife has commandeered my fountain pen - also the envelope, which is the last straw of the establishment supply!"
