Summary
Being several drafts with revisions of "Concerning Ivor Gurney", the introductory memoir to "Poems by Ivor Gurney" published in 1954. Including (1) a ten-page carbon typescript with autograph revisions; (2) a 14-page ribbon typescript with an autograph insertion numbered as page 5a; (3) a 13-page ribbon typescript incorporating some, but not all, of the revisions in item 2 (the long autograph insertion is not incorporated); (4) a 13-page carbon typescript of item 3 with further revisions transcribed from item 2 in the hand of Leonard Clark; (5) lists of poems by Gurney in Blunden's hand and typescripts of six poems, "From Laventie Line", "Like Hebridean", "The Coin", "London Dandies", "Chaulnes" and "Dawns I have seen."
