Summary
Concerning his proposal for the binding of the Kelmscott Chaucer; saying he proposes to do it "...in boards & pigskin, and to decorate the same according to the design made by you, & to supply the materials for binding, but not the Tools for the decoration which are to be supplied by you and to be your own. I undertake to do this in either or both of two ways, as you may direct: to wit, either 1. in whole white pigskin, or 2. in half white pigskin: and to charge you for the binding in whole pigskin £10, and for the binding in half pigskin £6.
