Summary
Thanking him for a "lovely example" of James Wardrop's writing and saying "I am delighted to have it, but did I earn it? Am I really the chap who provided you with a sample of Marsden or was it someone else, & ought I, in fairness, to return your Wardrop?"; saying he must look up "James W." and signing off with "My best salaams!"
