Ordenary of ancient arms : repertory of arms in French MSS : manuscript, undated [15th cent.].

An armorial, with index, of coats of arms of French families. Collections of manuscript coats of arms within shields are grouped by symbol and arranged on each page in four rows, with grouped captions above each row. Occasionally arms are hand-colored, but most are pen and ink drawings containing indications of colors required. With an alphabetical index (in a later hand) of the arms represented (laid in preceding the text and p.51v-57v).
