Summary
Enclosing a note to discharge his debt, though he has not time to write beyond assuring her that Effie seems very happy and makes him so. They like Keswick and will probably stay a week, reaching London before end of the month. He rejoices that Mr. Gray is recovering his health and courage. Now that the Chartist movement is happily concluded, he trusts that all Mr. Gray's property except the French railroads will rise in value.
