Summary
Saying he hopes Mr. Gray and Mr. Ruskin arrived safely yesterday: he feels for her in this calamity. May God support her. His heart bleeds for her. It will be better after matters come to a point, and the future will not be nearly as bad as might now be anticipated. They will be happy to help in any way: Mr. Gray will tell her what is proposed as a last resort. May these sad changes in the end be for the good of all.
